Although no one likes to go to the doctor or dentist, we strive to make your visits with us as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We strongly believe that our patient’s comfort is an important part of quality dental care.
Drs. Noroozi and Pauletto believe that your right to choose a dentist is an important freedom. We work closely with your dentist, but a referral by a dentist is not required to visit our office. We also welcome referrals from patients and friends of the practice.
We are extraordinarily proud of our staff, which is comprised of caring and dedicated professionals. They ensure that the patient’s surgical and administrative needs are met as efficiently and smoothly as possible.
We are a progressive implant and periodontal specialty practice, focusing on advanced periodontal treatments and dental implants. Our approach is based on the sound knowledge of established research on these specialized treatments, which have been proven over the years. We believe in approaching each and every patient based on their individual needs and personal and financial circumstances.
We take time to explain to our patients the nature and extension of their dental and periodontal problems and we offer all feasible options to improve those conditions. When needed, we will be more than happy to schedule a complimentary second consultation visit to discuss any treatment questions which remain unclear, as we like to encourage our patients to feel confident in the treatment they have selected.
Dental implant surgery is a continually growing part of our practice, as many patients over the age of 35 have suffered tooth loss. Furthermore, a common occurrence for many of our patients is the loss of the supporting jaw bone which prevents the proper placement of dental implants to replace missing teeth. Our board-certified specialists have completed a three-year post-graduate program specializing in the field of periodontal and implant-related reconstructive surgery such as hard tissue (bone) and soft tissue (gum) grafting. These advanced procedures may become necessary to correct the jaw bone deficiency for ideal implant placement in order to achieve esthetic and predictable outcomes.
The Latest in Dental Technology
Our specialty practice is equipped with the most technologically advanced breakthroughs with solid evidence in the field of periodontology and implant surgery such as Piezosurgery for sinus floor elevation surgery, tooth removal surgery, dental Implant placement and autogenous bone harvesting, ridge splitting and the centrifuge for preparation of autogenous concentrated growth factors e.g. Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF, LPRF) for better soft and hard tissue healing and to achieve the most optimal treatment outcomes.
Finally, we provide periodontal surgical procedures and facial injections, such as Botox and Fillers, for patients who wish to improve their appearance.
The procedures we offer include cutting edge solutions for replacement of missing teeth with dental implants and state-of-the-art treatments of gum recession and bone deterioration around teeth, with the latest technologies to encourage bone growth and gingival coverage of exposed roots as well as restoring periodontal health.
Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. We are here to listen to your questions and concerns and to help provide solutions leading to your better health. Please don’t hesitate to e-mail us if you have any questions regarding your care, or call us at IMPrESS Perio Implant Center Phone Number 604-733-4867. Our fax number is 604-294-9707.
What Is A Periodontist?
A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease and in the placement and maintenance of dental implants. Periodontists are experts in the treatment of all forms of periodontal disease, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and gingival recession.
The American and Canadian Dental Association recognize periodontics as one of the nine specialties of dentistry. Periodontists receive extensive post graduate training in treating periodontal (gum) disease, aesthetic plastic periodontal procedures, gum grafting, soft tissue and hard tissue reconstructive surgery and dental implant placement, including three years of additional education beyond dental school.
By choosing a specialist you will benefit from the latest procedures for treating periodontal disease and placing dental implants tailored to your needs. In addition, Drs. Noroozi and Pauletto can perform cosmetic periodontal procedures to help you achieve the smile you desire.
My periodontist says that he/she is “board certified.” What does that mean?
All periodontists must complete an additional three years of specialized training in periodontics following dental school. However, some periodontists opt to take the board-certification examination, which is offered by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) once per year. Board certification in periodontology denotes someone who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty, including demonstrating a high calibre and comprehensive mastery of all phases of periodontal treatment and dental implantology.
